Why MX5? When you can Himiko?

“Mitsuoka Himiko” words that generate an image of anime, domokun dolls and ramen. What you least expect then is a car that looks like its been pulled from the tear in space time from the 1940s. One look makes you think the designer is an old man who was forced to make his designs more ‘modern’. Make no mistake though, it isn’t boring. Its an especially intriguing car when you realise that its actually a NC MX5 wearing a Victorian dress. With the same LF-VE engine and 6 speed manual, but with a massive beer gut of an extra 200kg. Still its got double wishbone front, multi-link rear and Bilstein shocks. So always wanted a 1940s blitish cruiser that’s actually a Japanese impostor with a modern suspension setup and svelte body? Look no further than a Mitsuoka Himiko.
