DPImpreza over at Import Tuner has come to the conclusion that drifting – at least at a mainstream level – is dead. With the advent of various professional competitions around the world, and the desperation of companies to associate themselves with this latest of trends, the mainstream appreciation of drifting has apparently cooled quite a bit since it first stepped into the spotlight outside of Japan. Is that a bad thing?
