Hayashi Racing designed and produced the original and now infamous, very hard to find and extremely valuable “Sakura” (Japanese flowering cherry) wheels. To fill the void, Japanese wheel manufacturer R-Pride has released a new sakura inspired wheel for popular compact cars and kei cars. Lovely, but you can’t compare them to the originals.

ASM is the tuning brand of Autobacs ASM Yokohama, developing original parts for a wide range of vehicles. These parts range from original S2000 and BMW parts to unique designs for Recaro seats. The Autobacs ASM Yokohama flagship store has to be one of the cleanest aftermarket parts stores around and their ASM Blog is equally as awesome. They’ve even gone to the effort of translating their posts! Also worth checking is their drool worthy Recaro Blog.

Either you love their style, or hate it… Veilside are famous for their aerodynamic and aesthetic enhancement of the vehicle. The name is derived from the owner’s name, Yokomaku Hiranao. “Yoko” means “side” and “maku” means “veil”, which are compounded to form “Veilside”. Hirano was influenced by the 1960s Batmobile and designed along those lines. In 1994, the Supra Combat design was released and took the Grand prize at the Tokyo Auto Salon in the Complete Car category.
