I know many JDMST’ers have a thing for Golfs. Our very own SUGA has an R32 Golf riddled with JDM Style and Tuning parts and another owner rocking up on the night will be Tendy who has a MKV GTI rolling on Advans. More info on the event here.

We’ve been approached by Southern Star Entertainment Pty Ltd. They are currently casting for outgoing and opinionated married couples to appear on a new show for Channel 7. Created by comedy legend Jerry Seinfeld, ‘The Marriage Ref’ looks at the fun and comedy of married life.
Whether your partner drives a Nissan and you would only ever drive a Honda or your partner accuses your car of being the third wheel, so to speak, in the marriage, then we want to hear from you. It doesn’t matter how small the issue we can help.

Oran Park Raceway was a motor racing circuit at Narellan in southwestern Sydney, Australia. Recently, the land on which the racetrack is on was sold to the Government of New South Wales for a new housing development. This has lead to closure of the track and will end 47 years of motorsport heritage at the facility.

Nismo has confirmed two teams that will field it’s 600hp GT1 car in this years FIA GT championship series.
The teams are Swiss Racing Team headed by Othmar Welti and British team Sumo Power GT led by James Rumsey. Each team will field two cars a piece which means 4 of the 24 GT1 cars on the grid later in the year will be Nissan GT-Rs.
The first race kicks off in May at Silverstone Circuit. More info on this car here although I personally think it looks much better without all the vinyl here. Video here.

The 2010 World Time Attack Challenge to be held in Eastern Creek is almost here. The competitor list already includes some of best time attack cars from Japan, the USA and Australia.

MASSIVE NEWS!!! Proconcept and Seeco-Proconcept Racing have tied a new partnership deal with SPOON SPORTS.
In summary, this new partnership will involve Proconcept, automotive workshop based in West Ryde, Sydney, becoming the sole distributor of Spoon Sports products and Spoon Sports becoming a Technical Partner with the Seeco-Proconcept Racing Team.
Tatsuru Ichishima, President of Spoon Sports, will also be visiting Australia to publicly celebrate this new partnership at Circuit Club’s Eastern Creek Trackday on the 4th August 2007. He will also be made available to the media for interviews!!! For more info, hassle the Circuit Club guys.

Powerplay Imports are holding their first track day for 2007 at Wakefield Park in Beautiful Goulburn! As per usual the day will be timed and morning tea and lunch will be included. They will also be holding their Top 10 Time Attack at the end of the day following the huge success of their first shootout at Wakefield Park.
